Message Now come on guys the only reason I pulled the supra out was to see where it set before I tuned it. The AEM firmware was updated which caused me to start the tuning all over.
So with a few changes to keep from running lean, I pulled out with only 11 degrees of timing, 17psi, pump gas, street tires(nittos at 30psi) with an automatic and made the cars first ever pass with the TO4R. Which went a blistering .2 quicker in the ¼ at a whopping 1.7 mph faster and the same in the 1/8 as I did with a completely stock Supra on the factor twins with exhaust, manual boost controller, adj cam gears and a converter. Oh yea the car has the original drivetrain with 198,000 miles. Looking to be the first Supra in the 10s with 200K =). Before I did the firmware change the car should had been making around 500rwhp and ran 11.3 range on pump gas. Just ask the white supra that was running 10.2@141. Low boost we where tied from a roll. With race fuel the car will run 10s, maybe not 10.2 but high 10s as long as the 200K tranny does not let go.

The other black supra was also his first time at the track with the AEM as well. The car ran a 12.0@118 before the aem and that day ran a best of 12.2 with a little tuning we hope his will be around 11.7

Not knocking anyone’s car, after all 11.7 is .2 faster then I did with my stock twins and stock ECU. However for anyone wanting a piece of the 11.7 to4r just let me know, It will be ready in a few weeks. Here is all my contact info [ Http://hiwaay.net/~dimos ]

P.S. If you never created your own fuel and timing maps from scratch before save yourself the trouble don’t go stand-alone!!! OK maybe it will pay off in the long run but it sure is a pain to start from nothing.
